Environmental, Sustainable and Social responsibility at Dingle Benners Hotel.
Here at Dingle Benners Hotel our commitment to our responsibility to the environment, our planet and our community is at the heart of our values. Our aim is to understand, control, monitor and reduce our use of water and energy as well as reducing our production of waste.
We have implemented a number of actions within the hotel and each of our department heads lead their team on fostering and embracing these values.

We embrace and encourage our recycling and carbon reduction policy and have a reusable cup policy for staff.
We use tetra pak water containers in our guest rooms.
We are rolling out the use of refillable in room amenities through the hotel.
Where possible, all of our print material is now printed on uncoated stock made from recycled paper.
We encourage all communication to be digital to reduce printing of memos.
We have reduced our print order of items and reuse waste paper in the offices.
Our breakfast menus and bar menus are all reusable.
We employ a local workforce where possible with many staff relocating to Dingle and walking to work.
We buy local where possible to reduce food miles and keep our carbon footprint low. We ask suppliers to also be mindful of packaging and to reuse their packaging where possible.
As members of Dingle Peninsula Tourism Alliance we encourage slow tourism and responsible tourism.
Each year we support a number of local charities, events and fundraisers.
