While staying we highly recommend the Slea Head drive – a breathtaking route which takes you on a tour of Irish speaking villages, historic sites, cultural landmarks and Hollywood movie location. The drive is a circular route, beginning and ending in Dingle, which is best toured in a clockwise direction for ease of driving!
While on your drive, you can take a both trip to the famous great Blasket Island, the Blasket Island Center which is on the mainland is due to reopen in 2022 as it is currently undergoing extensive upgrading to its exhibitions.
Dingle town itself is easily explored from the hotel. Simply park up your car at the hotel and wander through the colourful streets, stopping for a drink at any one of our 52 pubs -some of which you can also buy a packet of nails at or a trouser belt, or drop into one of the shops with world class local crafts on offer.
