48 Hours in Dingle for outdoor lovers
Rise early to a hearty breakfast and set off for your climb of the awe inspiring Mount Brandon. Choose from 2 start points - Baille Breac, 6 miles North West of Dingle town, which is a moderate climb taking approx 3-4 hours up and down, or from Faha near the village of Cloghane which is a more strenuous route taking 4 - 5 hours approx.

Early the next morning set off for west of Dingle town to take a trip to the Great Blasket Island. The ferry departs 4 times a day from Dunquin pier with trips taking place from Easter to September each year. The crossing is 20mins and once landed you can explore the island with a tour from an OPW guide. Early booking is advisable and you can book your trip here.
